Members Receive Hegg Lifetime Awards
Three members of St. Peter’s Church, Livingston received the 2018 Hegg Lifetime Senior Ministries Award. The Award was presented at a special Evensong on Sunday, June 10, at St. Peter’s Church in Morristown. Recipients included three longtime members of St. Peter’s, Livingston: Cynthia Brady, Ginger McArthur, and Pat McChesney. The three women were honored for their generosity and faithful commitment to St. Peter’s and the Diocese of Newark, giving their time, talents, and treasure for over forty years to ministries including teaching in Sunday School, serving on the Vestry, volunteering in St. Peter’s Thrift Shop, and serving on Diocesan commissions such as the United Thank Offering and Going Local.
The David Hegg Lifetime Achievement Award is presented annually in memory of The Rev. David Hegg, priest of the Diocese of Newark, who in retirement dedicated himself to ministry to the aging.
