Rev. Elizabeth and members Ginger McArthur and Tara Gieger offered ashes to commuters at a local bus stop on Ash Wednesday. Ashes are a reminder of our need for God, and shouldn’t be confined to church buildings. Often, we need a reminder of God’s presence most in the midst of our busy days!  The season of Lent is more than ashes, and we invited those we met to make time for worship with a community of faith, for the support of others, and of the great traditions of faith.
